Skate of Mind is a free, all ages, beginner friendly skateboarding and arts event that promotes community, belonging and positive mental and physical well-being. Â
The event includes an afternoon of free skating, demos, skate comps and giveaways that will be accompanied by both live and recorded music and visuals created by young people and professional artists. Â
The event will culminate in the presentation of a short skateboarding, musical, and projection work created by Big hART with professional and semi-professional skateboarders and young people. Â
Food trucks and some skate market stalls will accompany the event.
