Bundanon is a unique national and international arts and education organisation situated in regional Australia. Home to a valuable $46.5M art collection, bequeathed by artist Arthur Boyd, and augmented by a significant contemporary art collection, the organisation creates residential learning programs for students of all ages and operates Australia’s largest artist in residence program. Our distinctive public programs bring audiences together with leading artists from all fields, scientists and local voices. Bundanon has re-opened after a significant transformation, with the construction of a new art museum, education facilities and associated accommodation and café/dining to support a wide range of cultural, tourist and commercial customers.

Working closely with the CEO the Head of Development will drive the philanthropic focus to support Bundanon’s ambitious artistic program following the opening of our new Art Museum and Creative Learning Centre
This role continues to develop and maintain key relationships across a range of stakeholders; and builds new donor relationships for the future. It leads Bundanon’s programs for philanthropic, corporate and individual giving and identifying and attracting resources from all sectors to grow Bundanon’s activities and profile.
It contributes to the overall strategic direction of the organisation as a member of the senior management team alongside the Chief Operating Officer, Head of Curatorial and Learning and Head of Communications and Marketing.
The position is based on site at Illaroo in the Shoalhaven and some travel will be required to engage with stakeholders. After hours and weekend work will be required.
