Interloper: One that jumps into the midst of things without an invitation to do so.
Tasmanian circus company ROOKE invites you to an exploration of belonging, connection, humanity and identity in this new world we are all coming to terms with. When an uninvited stranger arrives, we meet a complex individual who struggles to engage with the people around him. Interloper is a celebration of mundane human existence featuring five highly skilled circus artists who, at heart, are just like you.
These five extraordinary artists will drop your jaw to the floor, then pick it back up for a good laugh, only to take your breath away all over again. With daring acrobatics, mesmerising hula hooping, much silliness and a little bit of magic, Interloper is contemporary circus at its most physical and fun. This quirky and heart-warming exploration of belonging and connection in our strange new world will delight the whole family.
Every ROOKE performance feels like a party and every ROOKE experience will change your mind about circus. So dive in and enjoy the ride!
