Located on the coast in the city of Wollongong, the heart of Dharawal Country, Merrigong Theatre Company is one of Australia’s most dynamic regional performing arts companies. We are an independent not-for-profit company operating Wollongong’s Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC), and the Wollongong Town Hall. We also create, commission, produce and present exciting, innovative professional theatre.
We are seeking an experienced, energetic Visitor Experience Manager to lead our Visitor Services teams and ensure an excellent, coherent visitor experience across our all our venues and program streams.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively across our organisation to develop systems and processes which will improve our understanding of our customers and support data-driven decision-making. You will drive positive change through the implementation of continual improvement processes across the Visitor Services teams and you will be committed to creating welcoming environments that are inclusive and accessible.
The environment is fast-paced and creative and requires extensive experience in some Front-of-House capacity. You will have experience in leading and motivating teams, building a positive culture and empowering staff.
