South Gippsland Shire Council are seeking muralists to transform a significant rear facade facing onto the newly developed Leongatha Railway Precinct Mural Project, to one that engages the community and activates the refurbished site.
After the initial artist EOI process, three artists will be invited to develop their concepts. From this trio, up to two artists will be selected to develop and create a large scale artwork.
Artists will respond to the theme of ‘Leongatha and its Landscape’.
• EoI submission date COB June 5
• 3 successful artists will be notified Wednesday June 7, and paid $1000 to develop their concept
• Developed concept submission 11.59pm Thursday June 22
• Successful artist/s notified June 26
