The Frankston Arts Centre Open Exhibition is a call out for submissions by Victorian artists across all visual art mediums to explore the theme of ‘Renewal’.
The winning artist is awarded $1,000 plus an Exhibition and Opening Event opportunity at Frankston Arts Centre in 2024.
The 2023 theme is open to broad artistic interpretation and may be approached from a personal, social, or cultural perspective. The Open Exhibition will be at Cube 37 Gallery (next to the Frankston Arts Centre at 37 Davey Street, Frankston).
Entry fee: $16
Entries close: Saturday 15 July, 2pm
2023 Open Exhibition dates: Thursday 3 August to Friday 25 August
Opening Event: Thursday 3 August, 6pm (Registration essential)
How to enter: Enter online by paying the $16 fee, or visit the Frankston Arts Centre Box Office during open hours (Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm or Saturday 9am-2pm). Once you have paid the entry fee (online or in person) you will be emailed a link to enter your artwork details.
Successful entrants will be notified by Tuesday 18 July and can deliver artwork during the following days: Friday 28 July 10am to 5pm or Saturday 29 July 9am to 2pm.
Artwork Collection is on Saturday 26 August 9am-2pm.
