Salary Range – $73,952.84 – $85,015.32 plus 10.5% Superannuation

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Education & Public Programs Officer to join our Creative Arts Team.
About this role
Gippsland Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) is seeking an Education & Public Programs Officer to help design, develop and deliver contemporary and engaging public programs and performing arts education programs for children, young people, and adults.
Working within the largest Performing Arts Centre in Gippsland, you will collaborate with a wide range of people and organisations, including schools and tertiary institutions to deliver a broad range of arts education, community learning and participation opportunities.
About You
For this position we are seeking someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about the Performing Arts who has the ability to work collaboratively as part of our Creative Arts Team.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated self-motivation and initiative to be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to produce successful outcomes.
You will also need:
Essential
- Experience in researching, planning, delivery and evaluation of education programs within the Victorian curriculum framework as well as community engagement programs.
- Demonstrated ability in project management in relation to planning, developing and coordinating projects, delivering outputs on time and within budget.
- High level written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the performing arts sector as it relates to the delivery of education and community engagement programs.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Performing Arts / Performing Arts Management and/or relevant experience in an Arts Education and / or Public Programs role would be desirable.
- Further study in Primary or Secondary Education would be an advantage.
